Our management team visit suppliers regularly to ensure good quality production, working environments and working relationships (many of our suppliers have been with us for more than 20 years).
We have always looked for ethically produced and environmentally sound products. All items shown here are produced by highly skilled craftsmen, many of whom have learned their skills through generations of expertise. Most of the wooden items are made from reclaimed teak and where they are not they are from government accredited managed forests.
Our Ox-Cart wagon wheel bench is a striking teak wood bench which has been extremely popular for the past 17 years and continues to sell well in garden centres, furniture outlets and gift shops across the UK. Our recycled teak dining sets, also using recycled teak wood, are diverse and each one a great talking point. Our dining sets have been used in several large scale projects the latest of which is a dining area of South Lakes Wild Animal Park. Our benches are regularly sourced for Zoo’s and outdoor attractions. In 2014 Tripod Home won the tender to supply items to Chester Zoo’s Island project http://www.chesterzoo.org/Islands
